Your path, by AMQ band

Two people with the same category but different bands need different advice. Two people with the same band but different named risks need different daily attention. The result is specific to you; treat it that way.

Planned for release phase 2. The page is complete as a draft; interactive parts run in the browser and do not yet save to an account.

In brief

For the Dependent and the Avoider, bands track how deep the pattern goes — Band 1 is recent or shallow, Band 3 is settled or structural. For the Amplifier, bands track maturity of practice. Pick your band below, read it twice (once allowing yourself to defend, once as if it were about a colleague you respect), then pick one named risk and spend two months on it.

How to use a path

Read it without defending against it. Pick one named risk — the one where you flinched slightly — and work on that alone for two months. Then return and pick the next. Retake the AMQ in six months; a trajectory of placements tells you who you are becoming, which is the more important question.
