You are deep in the loop; it may have been your way of working for your whole AI-assisted career. From inside your head you are not depending, you are amplifying, and you can articulate fluently why your way of working is right. You may feel a flicker of dismissal reading this. The flicker is the diagnostic.
The work
The danger is not that the dependency is worse than at Band 2. It is that the entry point — the recognition that something is wrong — has been sealed off. Most Convinced Dependents do not recover gradually; they recover through a forced confrontation, and most confrontations are not chosen. If this result is your confrontation, it is a gift: most people in your position never get a clear signal until the cost is paid. Recovery needs an external check, because you do not yet trust that the muscle is missing. A trusted colleague who reviews your work and asks the questions you do not ask yourself. A senior figure who deliberately gives you work that requires defence and holds you to the defending. A peer further along on the framework. Without that check, your self-perception will drift back to where it was.
Risks to watch
Two or three of these will appear on your result, chosen for your pattern of answers. Work on one at a time.
Retaking the assessment too soon
Resist for at least three months of real work. A second placement before the work has happened tells you nothing.
Building arguments against the placement
They will sound persuasive to you. They are not evidence. They are the loop defending itself.
Trying to do this alone
Find one person whose judgement you trust to be honest, ask them to read this page, and ask whether they think the placement is accurate. Their answer is more useful than yours.

Before anything else, share this result with one honest colleague and ask them. Then the Noticing Week. Then one project, with that colleague reviewing it. Retake after three months of real work at the earliest; six is better.
