In brief
Amplifier Amplifier · Band 2. You have been working this way for a year or more. The framework has settled into being how you think, not a thing you apply; the steps run in the background and you notice them only when something goes wrong. You catch structural problems earlier than you used to and tell them from small fixes almost without thinking. Your work has a quality other people can sometimes see and cannot quite name.
The work
The Practitioner band is comfortable in a way the Apprentice band is not, and its risks are subtler. You may continue practising in your own work. You may begin to teach selectively, when asked. You may start on the systems-level questions in your organisation or industry. There is no single correct path; the choice should be made consciously rather than drifted into.
Risks to watch
Two or three of these will appear on your result, chosen for your pattern of answers. Work on one at a time.
Invisibility of the discipline to yourself
Because the framework runs in the background, you may forget what it was like not to have it, which makes you a worse teacher when someone eventually asks. Practise articulating what you are doing and why, even to yourself.
Drift toward self-satisfaction
The comfort of this band can stop you noticing the next horizon — what to do with what you have built, beyond your own work. Staying here is fine; drifting here is not.
Calibration error in advising others
The Apprentice in front of you may not be ready for Practitioner advice. Recalibrate to where they actually are.
Your roadmap
Write down, once a quarter, how you ran a recent project — the articulation keeps the teaching muscle alive. Decide consciously whether to move outward. Retake in six months.
