Who holds what, why, and how to make it stop. Short, because there is not much of it.
In brief
This site is run by Nandan Gijare, an individual based in Pune, India. It sets no cookies. It collects an email address only when you type one into a form, and uses it only for the thing you asked for. Everything you write into the workbench, the practice pages or the AMQ stays in your own browser and is never sent anywhere. To have your email removed, write to nandan.gijare@gmail.com and it will be deleted.
Who is responsible
Nandan Gijare, Pune, Maharashtra, India. There is no company behind this site; it is run personally, and the contact point for anything on this page is nandan.gijare@gmail.com.
What is collected
An email address, if you give one. The newsletter, the launch list, the worksheets, the contact form and the programme-interest forms each ask for an email, and the contact form also asks for a name and your message. Nothing is collected from you unless you fill something in and submit it.
Anonymous page statistics. Visits are counted so it is possible to tell which pages are useful and how many people who start the AMQ finish it. This is aggregate only: no cookies, no identifiers that follow you between sites, no profile of you, and nothing that could be traced back to a person.
Ordinary server logs. Like any website, requests are logged briefly by the hosting provider for security and diagnostics. These are not used to analyse visitors.
What stays on your own device, and never leaves it
The AMQ result, your AMQ history, workbench notes, first fortnight entries, noticing week tallies and evaluation gym answers are all written to your browser's own storage. They are not transmitted, not readable by this site's owner, and not backed up. Clearing your browser data deletes them permanently. When the AMQ works out your placement, your answers are sent to the scoring service, scored, returned and not stored.
What your email is used for
Only the thing you asked for: an answer to your message, the worksheet set, notice of publication, or news about a programme you registered interest in. It is not sold, not rented, not shared with anyone for their own use, and not used to send you unrelated marketing. Every email carries a way to stop receiving them.
Who else touches the data
Three services, each doing one job. Vercel hosts the site and serves the pages. Resend delivers email, and therefore holds the addresses that have been submitted. Plausible counts page visits without cookies or personal data. Each acts only on instructions and for these purposes.
How long it is kept
Email addresses are kept until you ask for them to be removed, or until the list they were collected for no longer exists. Contact messages are kept while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period after. Aggregate page statistics carry no personal data and are kept indefinitely.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what is held about you, have it corrected, and have it erased, and you can withdraw consent at any time. One email to nandan.gijare@gmail.com does any of these, and it will be acted on rather than negotiated.
Children
This site is written for adults and for students old enough to be making their own decisions about work and study. It is not directed at children, and no one under eighteen should submit an email address here without a parent or guardian agreeing.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it, and anything material will be said plainly rather than buried.
